Join Our Help Line!

We're excited to announce the launch of the Help Line starting this September. This Help Line is our way to connect with those who are struggling with addiction themselves or who are trying to help a loved one. Currently, we receive and answer over a dozen questions per week, but we would like to do more to help those who contact us through our website.

To more adequately respond to your needs, our Help Line has a three-pronged approach:

1. Every Monday night from 6:00 - 8:00 pm Central time we'll be hosting an online addiction support group, which will be free-of-charge and 100% confidential. No names will be used and you don't have to speak unless you choose to. During the first 15 minutes of the group, we'll be discussing new, evidence-based support for addiction recovery. This will include answering the questions we get most often: how to help someone who doesn't realize that they have a problem, and what do to if you're addicted and don't know how to quit. For the rest of the time, we'll open the group up for discussion so you can ask questions and/or share your frustrations about this difficult disease.

2. We're also launching four new classes which will help you learn how to use motivation, affirmation and encouragement to end addiction in yourself or a loved one. Each class will focus on an evidence-based concept on how to illicit positive change in yourself or in someone else. Ending addiction is all about learning to change, and these classes will teach you the concepts research has shown to be very effective for beginning that change. We will begin offering these classes this September through Learn It Live (Learn It Live integrates a top-of-the-line virtual classroom so your sessions are engaging and interactive).  and will updating this page as we finalize the details.

Four new addiction classes:

We're excited about this services, and hope it will more fully meet the needs of those struggling with addiction recovery. This is the biggest change we've made to the site since our site launch almost ten years ago. Over the next month, we'll be providing the information you'll need to connect to our new Help Line, so please check back as we fill in the details.

and Finally Remember:

"Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened."
- Matthew 7:7-8
