Lots of places to connect for recovery support online
by: Debbie Wicker

Hi Mindy,

There are a lot of places you can get recovery support online. One I would recommend is:

http://www.soberrecovery.com/forums/

This is a forum you can post on about your struggles with heroin addiction and others with similar problems will respond back.

Also About.com has a forum for addiction support that is very good:

Hope this helps,

Debbie

Here are some resources for family members who don't know where to turn, who to talk to, or what to do:

Need a group of "like-minded" people who are there to support you? Click the link and one of us will sign you in!

A supportive and loving place for families and friends of a person struggling with alcohol or drug abuse/addiction—to post, discuss and help each other. This is a closed group where anyone can join—and safely post without fear of "the world" being able to see. You are NOT alone!
