Almost lost him!
In 1999 I lost my dad to homelessness due to alcoholism--but because i never gave up on him in 2002 he came back to our family a sober man--we had it all, love, faith, a happy household, but when alcoholism took over, he was in complete denial.
My dad and I wrote our true story in a book called Go The Distance--I would love to share our story with you and your readers on what happens when you are sober---I get to hug my dad and at 41 years old that is still cool to me--for I almost lost him forever.
