I am sober today, it’s a Saturday and as much as I wish I could tell you why I am clean, I’m clueless to its answer.
The years have passed being clean, and I cannot even remember using now. It’s decades of a blur, then decades of blurry clean living.
My point is there is no magic spell or potion to clean up. We are all different and each addict finds hopefully their serenity in different ways. 3% of addicts get clean. That’s a ton of addicts left to the known outcome, if continued to use, of jails, institutions or death. Facts are facts. Truthfully it’s crap, because I want to be talking to the addict that is desperate and in pain, wanting to find a solution to end the pain, without drugs.
Hang on to another clean addict, your course will find the rest of the way. This I can promise you, if nothing else.
