Mother addicted to pain pills?

Dear Sir/Madam,

My mother is in her 60s and has been addicted to pain medication now for at least 15 years to the point that she rarely ever leaves her room. On top of this, she has eating disorders including; bulimia and anorexia.

I am looking for information on how my family and I can help such as having somebody come talk to her about her problem of which she is in complete and extreme denial.

I would appreciate any help and information that you can give me to point me in the right direction.

My wife has a prescription drug problem.

I just recently figured out that my wife has a prescription drug problem. she has had multiple major back surgeries. She constantly runs out of Vicoden, Tramadol and Clonozepan on a regular basis, she ran out of all three today and won’t get any refills until Wednesday. I fear she will have major withdrawal issues and don’t know what to do.

Our marriage is suffering from this as well and don’t know how much more I can handle. Please give me some direction, thanks.

Should I call the police?

I have been with a man for about 3 years now and have found Opana, Vicodin, Percocet and other opioids.

Today I found a whole bag of pills in his car and I want him to stop so bad, but the few times I have confronted him he has beaten me up, and to my shame I have done nothing.

What I want to do is call the police, because I want him to stop, but I'm afraid that is cruel, is it cruel to call the police on him?

Daughter has a history of drug abuse?

I have a 27 year old daughter who is single mom with 3 boys. She has a history of abuse and trying to commit suicide. She is a "cutter". She and the boys live with my husband & I. She has a drug addiction and is on a self destructive path.

Everyone in the house walks on eggshells due to her being here. We love her and want her to get clean but she refuses help. She is a nursing student and unbelievably gets good grades.

She says she can't go into rehab or her chances of a nursing career would be shot. Everyone tells us to kick her out.

She has bouts of being Nasty to all of us, even abusing our dogs.

Please HELP!

Daughter introduced to TIK?

Hi,

My daughter is 14 yrs old and has been introduced to TIK last year this time.

I had to send my child to prison for a night just to keep her safe as she ran away from home on several occasions.

By the Grace of God we have found a rehab for her an is booked in the 27 June 2011.

Mother wanting daughter back!

My daughter is married to a heroin addict. They have a 2 yr old. we have kicked them out of our house because we have found crack pipes in our house and yard.

Now my daughter has taken my grandson and moved into a known drug motel. She is not using and she says that she loves him and has to stand by her husband. She works a full time job, goes to school and then takes care of their son.

How can we get her to see he is just using her like he has for the last 13 yrs? He talked her grandma into signing for a car for them and then it got repoed. Now they have no car.

We had to give my daughter an old car her sister had so she could get to work and school. He is not allowed to drive it.

What can we do?? I really don't want my grandson staying there. We have told her to come home with the baby but not her husband who has been in rehab 3 times already.

HELP!!

Boyfriend may be using?

I believe my boyfriend is "using"; I am picking up on the key signals. For example, I can easily hear it through the phone in his voice and the way he combines all of his words in one sentence into one syllable, at which I have to ask him to slow down and repeat what he just said.

Also, his mom tells me he does not eat and is up for days at a time. So I am sure you know what the problem is; he is become overly defensive and I am afraid to approach the subject.

I pray to God so hard for him every day that he stops before it is too late. And I know it will only happen in God’s time, but I feel like I need to do something on my end. I refuse to just sit by and witness my own boyfriend self-destruct. I love him and my heart is breaking into pieces everyday because I know he deserves and can do better than this.

So my question is, what can I do for him? How can I help him?
