I have a mental health problem for drug abuse and alcohol. What treatment process, and prescriptions will be covered by insurance?

Somethings will be covered but probably not everything.

Dear Marie,

Every insurance plan is different and covers different treatment centers and processes. I’d recommend you start going to local AA and/or NA meetings or find a Celebrate Recovery group at a local church. The people there will know the BEST most cost effective programs available in your area so that you can get the help you need.

Also, these groups will get you started ion the 12 steps, which should be a basic part of an treatment plan. Working the steps and going to meeting, daily, if possible will get you an excellent start on the road to recovery. Finding a good sponsor will give you someone to call and consult with so you can get the best possible care for the best possible price.
