Drug addiction is a serious, worldwide concern, because it destroys the lives of people and causes social and economic trouble. Drug addiction robs people of their humanity, ruins their potential and prevents any opportunity for happiness and fulfillment. When people suffer from this disease, it effects us all. You and I are thousands of miles apart, but we share each other’s burden, the burden of those afflicted with the disease of drug and alcohol dependence. |
