Explain what you have and how it is treated. Tell him what doctor you see and encourage him to become an expert on your condition. What’s the worst that could happen? If he freaks out and bolts, he wasn’t the right guy and he doesn’t deserve you. But what if he just takes it in stride and wants to help? Now that’s a guy worth keeping.
