Friend is Former Crack User
A good friend is a former crack user, has been clean for 3 years, is in his late 40’s.
He is struggling to rebuild his life & is fortunate to have a small group of friends helping him. Several of us provide work when we can & he rents a room from his pastor.
He has a good work ethic & will do anything I ask of him but has a hard time learning. I am an electrical contractor. My work is not rocket science but proper methods are very important.
His cognitive skills are very poor & he has short term memory loss. He struggles with even simple tasks. Can the brain recover or is the damage permanent? Will it get progressively worse?
