I would like to tell you that this person will return to who they once where, but I have learned much about this after Losing a child to Inhalant abuse.

Yes it does take lifes.

The other thing it destroys is Brain matter, and very quickly with out ever having the ability to heal the damage, but if they stop now they will at least remain who they are and not leave this planet prematurly…….

BE TUFF DON’T HUFF….

Serious Consequences

Long-term inhalant use can lead to a variety of problems, not the least of which is irreversible harm to vital organs, such as the liver and kidneys.

Inhalants can also cause serious damage to the brain and central nervous system. Users can also experience a deterioration of muscle coordination, spasms.

Children who use have been known to die the very first time they inhale, called Sudden Sniffing Death Syndrome, which is usually a case in which the inhalant causes the heart rate to increase, leading to cardiac arrest.

Your family member may or may not experience the long term effects of the inhalant, but it is possible for the damage to be irreversible.

If the symptoms are lingering, they should see a doctor.
