Is this cocaine?

I have observed a young relative inhale from a ‘pipe’ that resembles a cocaine pipe that I once saw in a photo. He then exhaled a stream of white smoke before beginning a beautiful piano performance. Would this be cocaine or could it be marijuana?

It could be either.

Cocaine does cause quite a bit of very white smoke, usually whiter than marijuana so it is like cocaine, but it could be marijuana.

I recommend that you ask your relative and try to convince them to get help for their addiction if it is cocaine. Going to AA or CA and working the 12 steps is a great start.
