No place to help

by Theresa

(Circleville, OH)

There is no place to help you with drug addiction without a price. I have a terrible story and nobody will help unless there is money involved no matter how serious the problem is.

I have begged and begged for help with my daughter but nobody cares. Nobody is out there. Trust me, I’ve tried over and over.

No place for help

This is Theresa, again. Thank you both for your kind comments. I have AA Meetings, Churches, Talk shows, friends and family. I also keep talking to the Lord. I will try the Cincinnati number.

My 80 year old mom lives with me who is very sick that I feel like my daughter helped her health spiral downhill. I also have a 8 year old granddaughter who lives with me and I try to hide everything from her because she is too depressed. I’ve never experienced anything like my heroin daughter and I am completely at lost.

Thank you again.

Well i happen to know a place located in Cincinnati Ohio that is free !!! It is called city gospel mission. Look them up on-line or call them. They have programs for men and women!! the number is: 513-241-5525.

Ask them about how to get you to talk with someone in the woman’s program. It might be a long drive but your kids life is at stake and besides she needs to get away from her old surroundings for a while.

Go a head and give it a try. Trust me i went through the men’s program a couple years ago and my life has never been the same since… for the good. It is faith based. Good luck and God bless. Now let’s see what you do with the chance at getting some help !!!

Keep the Faith

Dear Theresa,

It sounds like you have tried everything. Just one question—have you gone to Al-anon and asked other parents about what you can do? It’s just a thought, but parents have a remarkable way of finding water in the rocks when they are pressed.

Many churches have drug programs and if your daughter is out of control and throwing her life away, you may consider going to law enforcement and asking for their help. Sometimes saving a person means having them arrested and confined.

Addiction is a terrible disease because unlike a broken leg, the patient doesn’t want treatment. Even if the patient does want treatment, there is no cure. Whatever it takes, my prayer for your daughter is that she receives the help she desperately needs. Please allow someone to help you as well. Call Al-anon.
