The Addict’s Mom A Journey
I would like to take this opportunity to introduce you to Barbara Theodosiou, Founder of The Addict’s Mom.
Barbara founded The Addict’s Mom in 2008 so as to create a place for mothers of addicted children to share without shame while also gathering resources. Barbara was driven to do something after learning that her 2 sons were addicts. One of her sons is in recovery and has been clean for several years while the other is still deep into his addiction.
Barbara has touched numerous mothers of addicted children through her work with The Addict’s Mom. Today her facebook groups number well over 8000 mothers of addicted children. In April of 2012 Barbara launched a membership site, www.addictsmom.com, which today now numbers over 1500 members.
Barbara earned a Masters Degree in Family Therapy from Nova Southeastern University. Barbara can be reached at 954-309-0992 or via email at [email protected].
Barbara Theodosiou is available for interviews by calling 954-309-0992. Barbara also offers her column Ask The Addict’s Mom to publications dealing with addiction as well as the mainstream media. Barbara is currently seeking integrity partners for www.addictsmom.com
