My husband has been drinking everynight and recently started smoking pot how, do I get him to stop?

I have a question. I am currently seventeen years young and have had a lot of experience with drugs. My family has a big history with using and I have already gone through rehab treatment a year and a half ago.

I’m having problems taking just about anything now, and I don’t know how to work towards fixing that. I get stressed out at the idea of taking simple drugs such as Advil and I’ll just let myself be in pain instead.

My friend of about 12 years is an alcoholic and drug addict. He has been in treatment before but has not been able to stay clean and sober.

I was wondering what would be anybody’s advice when the addict has not been heard from in about three or four days? Their cell phone is not on and you are living every second with the fear that they are lying somewhere alone or even dead. Is the tough love method the way to go, or should a missing persons report be filed?

I’m not really even sure where I would look for him, but I am completely distraught over this. Please give some advice. What should I do?
