Desperate to seek help!

by Joseph

(Danville, VA)

Desperate to seek help please help me someone before it’s too late!

I’m addicted to opiates and need help to get off of them; I’ve been taking them for years. It all started because I hurt my back and had back surgery and was given narcotic pain medication since then it’s become a downward spiral my addiction is out of control.

I spend over $130 a day just to maintain, I’ve looked everywhere seeking help for my addiction but because I have no insurance and no ability to pay thousands of dollars upfront I can’t get into a facility anywhere. I’m Desperately Seeking help.

If you’re reading this and you know something that I can do to get help that really works please let me know I beg of you to let me know!

Dear Joseph,

The first recommendation I have for you is the Salvation Army addiction program. This program is free and has helped many, many people to end their opiate addiction.

Also, search for free medical clinics in your area and go into the clinics and ask for help for your opiate addiction. They should know all of the services available to you to get help for your addiction. You should be able to go on Medicaid ASAP and then get the treatment you need.

My last and most important recommendation is to start going to AA (Alcoholics Anonymous), NA (Narcotics Anonymous) and HA (Heroin Anonymous) meetings and begin working the 12 steps.

Working the steps and connecting with your higher power will help you to understand your addiction and decide how best to move past it. Find a sponsor as quickly as you can so you can get the support you need to end this downward spiral.

Go to meetings DAILY for 90 days and you’ll find the help and support you need to move into a joyous and addiction free world that we’re all seeking.

Good luck,

Debbie
