Me and my husband are on meth.

Me and my husband have been on meth for a year now and a couple of months ago I’ve seen some really weird sexual signs that he does in his imagination. I can be sitting next to him and his is on and then he stares away and next thing I know I am looking at him with his eyes half way closed and him imagining his making sounds and movements of pleasure having sex with a guy.

Meth causes mental illiness.

by: Debbie Wicker

Hello,

Meth is a VERY harmful drug especially to the mental and emotional health of the addict. Meth addiction attacks the brain and often causes delusions and even psychosis.

You and your husband will respond differently to meth use but neither of you can use meth and remained unharmed both mentally and physically.

I would recommend that you take you husband in to the doctor/psychiatrist for a complete physical and psychological assessment. If his meth use is causing psychosis, it will only get better if he stops using. Once he stops using it may take six month or more before he returns to normal mentally and for his psychosis to completely go away.

Good luck and please take care of your husband ASAP,

Debbie
