Husband is currently in withdrawal...What's next?
I am the wife of a man who is currently in the hospital in the throws of withdrawal from alcohol.
He just started the DT's and I think they will last a while. I guess my question is, what's next? He needs to get into rehab, but I am afraid that he will not go. If he continues to drink the damage that he has done to his body will get worse and he will die. I am a recovering drug addict myself, I understand the mechanics of this illness, I just don't know how to help him. Any advise will be greatly appreciated.
and Finally Remember: "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened." - Matthew 7:7-8
