My oldest brother died 10 years ago this month of a heroin overdose. I found out yesterday (I had suspected but no one would confirm) that my younger brother is now on roxys (shooting them) and crystal meth. He has run to California but is supposed to be back in a few days. I have no idea what to do to even try to help….

A very good start is to call Al-Anon and tell them your story. They will understand and most likely have some suggestions for you. You can also call local treatment centers.

You need to get through to him, but do not expect him to cooperate with you. He doesn’t think anything is wrong. Make that call and get some support for yourself and your family.
