At Sovereign Health in Rancho San Diego, California, we provide for and assist our adolescent patients with every physical, medical and emotional need. Ultimately after concluding treatment for their addiction, mental health or co-occurring condition, it is their acquired new skills and strengths learned during therapy that will keep them on the road to a healthy life.

Our patients are encouraged to understand how their prior behavior evolved and to set realistic goals for the future to prevent relapse. Our goal is for our patients to acknowledge that they are unique, strong, capable individuals with the ability to be masters of their own lives. We place emphasis on helping our patients repair the damage in their lives and teach important patterns to use in daily life such as:

Dealing with your drug or alcohol addiction
The ability to express your emotions in a healthy way
A dismissal of the need to meet unrealistic expectations
Dealing with past trauma or abuse
Dealing with depression and guilt
Dealing with obsessive or unhealthy behaviors

At our teen treatment center, we are acutely aware that our patients have their entire lives in front of them and that life should be the best it can be.
