Any doctor or any psychiatrist that may help to recover?

(Dhaka, Bangladesh)

A very close family member is addicted. He says he has quit it, but we can’t see any symptoms of quitting. I have read many queries and have found that quitting has so many symptoms but he is totally normal. So we would like to go to a doctor. Whom to go to, can anyone help please!

I’m confused by the question?

You should go to ANY doctor and tell them about your family member’s addiction? Your family member must be willing to go with you to the doctor so that the doctor can help them. Then allow the doctor to send you to another doctor in your area who specializes in addiction.

Is there any medical treatment can help yaba addicted people to recover forever ?

by: Anonymous

My little brother is taking yaba and also cigarettes, he is highly addicted now. We decided to take him a medical center for treatment. He is 16 years old. Will he recover by any rehabilitation center treatment? Please help us!

Yes any medical center should be able to help him.

Yes, take him to any medical center and let them know everything you know about your little brother’s drug use. They should know what resources are available to help him.

But, please be aware that addiction is a chronic disease of the brain for which there is currently NO cure. Once someone is an addict they are always an addict and must avoid taking the drug that they’re addict to for the rest of their life. Otherwise, they will become an addict again the first time they use their drug of choice again.
