Dear Mark,

Boy are you right! Drugs are SO bad for us when we use them for entertainment or to improve our mood. Many of us are shy and feel insecure at parties or with our friends.

When we drink, or use drugs we become the person we always wanted to be. We feel like everybody loves us and we’re socially right where we want to be. No more anxiety and fear when we talk to the opposite sex, we’re confident and happy.

But sadly, there is a huge looming problem that we don’t see because it’s happening without our knowing it. The drugs and/or alcohol is changing our brain and we need to use more, or more often to get the same feeling back.

Suddenly, we have to use, we begin to look forward to using because it’s the only time we really feel “good”. Our brain becomes our enemy and convinces us that we MUST use! That’s when our addiction begins.

So as Mark says

“I like you to know that drugs is very dangerous for us. So please stop using drugs.”

Please heed Mark’s advice and if you find that you can’t stop then go to AA or NA and work the 12 steps. The 12 steps will help you to regain control of your life and enable you to stop using even if you think you can’t.
