Congratulations on being clean! Keep up the good work. I am so sorry to hear about your aunt. I have a son who has be abusing drugs and alcohol for 13 years. I go to Al Anon meetings (for friends and families of alcoholics and drug addicts) and there I met people in the same or similar situation as myself. I would highly recommend it to you. I am a recovering alcoholic and I have not drank for 25 years. I think the best thing you can do for now is get some support for yourself. I’ve heard others say that when THEY seek help for themselves the addict sometimes sees that and it somehow helps them to want to change and seek help, too.
