Many hospitals offer outpatient treatment.

by: Debbie Wicker

Dear Edward,

Often the best place to find addiction support is at a hospital which offers mental health services. In Mobile there is a center that seems to offer the outpatient services you’re looking for. It’s called AltaPointe Health and their website is http://altapointe.org or you can call them at (251) 450-2211 to find out which services they offer that will help you to get support for your addiction.

I would also like to recommend that you go to AA or NA meetings in your area. Working the 12-steps is a successful way to anonymously learn to end your addiction.

Also, the people at these meetings often have an excellent understanding of the services available that may be helpful for you.

Good Luck,

Debbie
