List of resources about drug and alcohol addiction.
by Kathleen
(Cary, NC)
If you have ever known someone who struggles with drug or alcohol addiction, you are no stranger to the long road to recovery ahead of them. In fact, about 17.6 million Americans (1) struggle with alcohol abuse every year, and there are an average of 20 million illegal drug users every month.
Numbers such as these indicate that an alarming number of people need help, whether they require professional treatment, peer support, or just some information on the impact drug and alcohol abuse has on an individual’s health.
I created the following list of resources with the intention of spreading awareness on this issue. I hope you’ll support my cause by sharing it with your readers and I sincerely thank you in advance for promoting an open community where we can support those in great need.

I would also be happy to write a research-based article on this topic for your site free of charge, so please let me know if that’s something you’re interested in.
I believe both you and your audience will find this information as relevant as I do, but please let me know if that’s not the case. If you send me an e-mail, I will no longer contact you in my efforts to spread awareness on important issues.
and Finally Remember:
“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.”
